A super sweet and romantic wedding with a really fantastic black wedding gown is on the blog today. This British Columbia wedding was breathtaking!
From the photographer:
“This unconventional couple didn’t want anything cookie-cutter when they said their vows. Dave and Quin were married on their 15 year anniversary. They have traveled world, started careers and now wanted to mark their anniversary with a celebration of the commitment they had already made, and will continue to have with each other throughout their lives.
They gathered 22 of their closest family and friends to get married overlooking the breathtaking Victoria harbour at sunset. Quinn wowed Dave with her black wedding gown with an open back, (and her black bordered veil, which she made herself) when they had their first look. We took some time to take portraits along the harbour, and then they said their vows just as the sun was setting.
One of the special touches in their ceremony was taking the time to thank their parents for all they had given them throughout their lives and their relationship. Rather than “walking down the aisle” they started a first dance while guests blew bubbles.
They then had an intimate little cocktail party to cap off the evening.”
